Ice report and weather

Here we will show all ice reports along the course of Vikingarännet. From January, this will be updated at least twice a week.

There is now solid ice from Uppsala to Alvik. In most parts, the ice is approx. 20 cm thick. Erikssund is frozen, but there is a possibility of a very short walk. The is a crack under Tranebergs bridge. The finish will be in Alvik.

1. 20 cm ice

2-7, 12-18, 15-25. 15-25 cm ice, covered by 3 cm snow. This will be cleared in the weekend.

8-11. approx. 20 cm ice

19-21. 15-25 cm ice, covered by 3-4 cm snow. This will be cleared in the weekend.

22. 5-10 cm ice to the bridge, covered by 3 cm snow.

23-25. 15-20 cm ice, covered by 3 cm snow

26-33. 20-25 cm ice, covered by 3 cm snow. Track is cleared.

34. Weak ice

35-37. 15-20 cm ice, covered by 3 cm snow. This will be cleared in the weekend.

37-38. 20-25 cm ice, covered by snow. Track cleared.

39. 12 cm ice

40-43. 15-20 cm new ice. Track is cleared or will be cleared the next few days

44-57. Approx. 15 cm ice, covered by 2-3 cm snow. The track west of Hässelby cleared.
